Blasphemy and Heresy The Absinthe Twins very rarely mix Absinthe with anything other than water, however when faced with an almost empty bottle containing a tiny dose of Absinthe we decided to attempt a creation of our own: The Absinthe and Tonic. We know this is absolute Heresy and we should be Drawn and Quartered for such Blasphemy, but the result was a very tasty libation. The recipe is a dose, or thereabouts, of Absinthe - preferably the last of a bottle - poured over ice and topped with Tonic. It sounds hideous but tastes divine.
